CTRL ULtrasonic Technology Training

A comprehensive 1-½ day training session is offered at CTRL's corporate office in Westminster, MD the second Monday and Tuesday of each month. On-site training and assistance with technology implementation is also available. (Contact CTRL for more information.)

Overview

Experienced and knowledgeable trainers combine classroom training with training in the field so attendees will attain the confidence and knowledge to apply and effectively implement the technology into an effective predictive maintenance program.

- An introduction to the benefits of ultrasonic inspection and the basic principals of ultrasound
- An overview of how ultrasonic technology works
- Hands-on demonstrations of how the technology can be used for a wide variety of applications
- Field trip for additional hands-on use of the product
- Techniques for determining the condition of critical bearings, pinpointing gas leaks, and more
- Open discussion to share field experiences and technology/applications questions
- Implementation tips for using the CTRL products in a predictive/preventative maintenance program

Training Schedule

DAY 1
8:30am - 10:00 am: Introduction to the Theory of Ultrasound (coffee and donuts served)
10:00am - 10:15am: Break
10:15am - 12:00pm: CTRL Product Features and Components
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Lunch (compliments of CTRL)
1:30pm - 3:00pm: Hands-On Technology Demonstrations
3:00pm - 3:15pm: Break
3:15pm - 4:00pm: Ultrasonic Inspection Techniques and Applications

DAY 2
8:30am - 11:30am:Field Trip - Hands-on use in a plant setting
11:30am - 12:00pm: Wrap Up
