The CTRL Corona Discharge Detection Kit is a kit configuration for the power industry. Whether power generation or power transmission, the Corona Discharge Detection Kit is complete with UL101 Ultrasonic Receiver, PowerBeam 300, and Industrial Grade Headset for the detection of arcing and corona discharge, and even partial discharge, from safe distances

Corona discharge may be an early indicator of failure, arcing, or electrical leaks during transmission at substations. The detection kit is more cost affordable and more accurate than tradition corona discharge detection.

In addition to detection of electrical arcing and discharge, the UL101 and PowerBeam is also utilized to detect SF6 and Nitrogen gas leaks. The remotability and accuracy of the UL101 and PowerBeam combination allow for safe evaluation along high voltage lines and connections.
