SoundCTRL System Chosen as Plant Engineering Product of the Year Finalist

CTRL Systems, Inc. (Westminster, Maryland) - CTRL Systems is pleased to announce that CTRL's SoundCTRL System (introduced in March 2003) has been chosen as a Finalist in the 2003 Plant Engineering Product of the Year competition.

SoundCTRL is a handheld system that connects directly to CTRL UL101 Receiver. The SoundCTRL software recognizes the ultrasonic signals received by the UL101 and provides immediate display and analysis of sound characteristics to help determine the condition of the component under test. The system is ideal for diagnosis of mechanical components such as bearings and gears.

The SoundCTRL System will be featured in the November 2003 issue of Plant Engineering. Winners will be selected by a reader vote and will be announced in February 2004.
