"For 30 years, DECs have served the U.S. by helping local companies export, promoting our country's economic growth and creating new and higher-paying jobs for their own communities," said Blakeman.

District Export Councils (DECs) are organizations of leaders from the local business community who are appointed by the Secretary of Commerce to support other local exporters and advice the government on its export promotion activities.
